Dr. Adele Makow is owner and medical director of Renew Laser Clinic.  She received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook.  She completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California, and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine.  She practiced Emergency Medicine for 18 years at Seton Medical Center in Daly City before opening this clinic. 

Dr. Makow has completed advance clinical training in laser treatments, Botox injections, dermal fillers, and other non-surgical aesthetic treatments.  She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a board member of the San Mateo County Medical Association.  Dr. Makow is also the medical director of Cutera, Inc., which is a laser manufacturing company in Brisbane, California.

Rania Garcia is our receptionist who started in April 2009. She has completed her AA degree in nursing and is preparing for the LVN exam. Rania is also working at Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco.

Iolanda Nava-Mennen, LVN is our patient coordinator and started at Renew Laser Clinic when it first opened in 2007. She is currently working toward her R.N. degree.
