Some types of scars and stretchmarks can be treated with a combination of lasers with the result of a smoother lighter scar. The results are variable - some scars respond very well, and others respond only a little. It depends on the depth, color and size of the scar, as well as each individual's healing response.
In general, a recent scar or flat scar with discoloration will respond best to the non-ablative gentle lasers such as Laser Genesis and Titan. Old scars with depression or irregular texture, such as acne scars, respond better to ablative lasers such as Pixel or Pearl. A series of multiple treatments are needed for all scars and results are gradual.
